How do you make money from twitter.

Id call myself a ebay expert but i have no clue whatsoever with twitter and facebook use in terms of money making.
Do you guys just get loads of fans and followers and send them deals to your website etc or can you sell directly off the site with a link?

Is it worth buying these real followers and i dont understand how they can mass add real accounts if the person dosent add you themselves.
Not asking your insider secrets just the general understanding of what your doing , also is anyone making real money directly of these sites as a living?

I think a guide for starters really is in order. I'll try to post one tomorrow. But as for your question, the most basic ways to make money off twitter is

1. Building a list
2. Direct marketing / tagging users in your tweets

#1 takes some time though. #2 works well for CPA's, aff links, promoting a website, etc. With #2 - You can scrape users and tweet them directly or "wait and reply" (as popularized by TA) - wait for certain keywords in tweets and then send those users a message.

Anyway, about twitter - it is just a hype. Most of "marketers" failed with a lot, really lot offers, techniques and systems for fast get rich schemes. People on twitter simply not buying those stuff. Big part of accounts are bots following each others, other big group are teenagers and group fans there just to talk about bieber or some other kids, and 3rd big group are marketers itself, a lot of them trying to sell something. Only good way to maybe sell something (preferably your product like ebook or something) is to build a real human followers, genuine interested in your specific niche, ready to read every your tweet because you are so good on the subject, and occasionally to slip something about your product, indirectly of course.

I tried my luck once with twitter marketing but never had any success with the time & effort been spent on twitter marketing.

Yeah, it generally works by building a list on Twitter and then using CPA offers to monetize that list. However, my recent experience with Twitter has gone really bad after they decided to go haywire on the increasing spam. Their new policies are making everything all the more difficult, and same is the problem with Facebook too. But you might want to give this a shot, just don't get one of your main domains banned on Twitter in the process though..

Step 1: Create a time machine. Step 2: Go back a few years. Step 3: Buy a program called Tweet Attacks. Step 4: Use bought program to create 1,000,000s of accounts. Step 5: Sell created accounts. Step 6: Profit.

You should have 2 separate deals.

1. A main account that has a crapload of real followers (takes a while to build, but you can start it off by buying fake first and then manually adding a few hundred REAL, good, targeted followers) and you tweet your offers to them.

2. A bunch of fake accounts that you do auto retweet/wait and reply and drip twitter feed offers into

I make about $700/day on Twitter and have been for the past year. A nice chunk of the income simply comes from others paying me to be retweeted on my massive account. Around last summer I was doing about $300/day. The concept is easy but not simple to achieve: Get twitter famous, repeat. I have about 5 million total followers on all my accounts with nearly half on just one. It's not easy to become twitter famous but when you do, the money flows.
