How do you make a PDF eBook for free? Please don't tell me to Google it. The results don't help.
Thanks a lot.

Write up your book in a wordprocessor like MS word or open office, use a PDF printer to convert the word doc into a pdf

The best solution, imo, is to use Openoffice to write your content. It has an inbuilt PDF converter that you can use.

Use torrents to find your "free" software. Personally I just use Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro, but you can also use Print2PDF (my 2nd fav), or one of those Word2PDF apps. There are several laying around on the forum. If you aren't familiar with using torrents, just download Limewire and do a search on mininova*com

Edit: here's a torrent link for Print2PDF and Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro

or you could download one of the free trial for adobe acrobat 8 than get the serials for "free".

Just PM me for the details (if you know what I mean) :).

Both are being used by me right now, both are full versions and are clean.

Enjoy

Yep yep, NitroPDF is a lot less intensive than Adobe and has a ton of great features.

If you're looking to save space definitely go with that one.

Avoid Acrobat - its overly complex, yet restrictive and fiddly.

Posted it in your thread and this one a few posts ago, look up the thread.

Hi,
Do a search in Go*og*le for Prim*o PDF , which is free!
Write or open your document and when printing select the Prim*o option
which will then export your doc as a PDF file.

Open office from n*vu as the same function built in to its writer.

Best part its all 3

I personally agree with the recommendation
of Open Office Writer and that's what I've
always used - and it's better than Microsoft
Word - which Microsoft sucks.

Zeprokon

I use NitroPDF and I recommend you use the same. Much better interface and more features.

Hey Guys!

Did you know that the latest Adobe Acrobat (v9) now allows you to embed flash videos right inside the file itself. It's completely self-contained and no longer depends on an external player like Windows Media Player, etc. Check out the info below:

MS word 2010 also has built in function to save as a pdf.

You can easily make a PDF eBook by doing this:

1. Download a Free Software called CutePDF Writer and install it.

2.Just type your eBook using Microsoft Words as normal and when you're done, click on File on the top left corner of the bar -> Print.

3. Instead of printing it with a printer, select CutePDF Writer, then click on print. It will now ask for the directory where the PDF would be saved at.

Hope this helps. Goodluck!
