How Do You Maintain Your PBNS?

Is maintaining PBNs really worth it or its best to keep making / buying new ones?

The only maintenance I am looking to do is just add a 1000+ article every once in a while. That's it.

How do you maintain your PBNs?

order a set of social links for them, and then order some commenting on them now and then as well.
set other people's fan pages on your site, so it pulls on their real activity in a small stream somewhere on your site, looks social.
 
1000 articles? How will you do that? Are these unique articles?

I have PBN and only update these 3x a week..
 
Just post 1-2 articles a month that don't have links or link to other authority sites.

You don't have to do much maintenance.
 
  • Update your themes/plugins from time to time
  • Monitor security and fraudulent traffic with Wordfence
  • Check your external links, you don't want to link to penalized domains!
  • Remove spam comments and pingbacks if you they are set to allowed.
 
By maintenance I would make sure your WPs are updated (themes and plugins), otherwise they'll get hacked in no time, and you'll lose time setting them up again.

As for content, a video/image/text post here and there is all you need.
 
Domains with quality backlinks can lessen your worries about keeping it up. And when you maintain your site with articles make sure they are good quality content and relevant.
 
Since you have a massive network, the best way to maintain your PBN, assuming that it's on Wordpress, is to use their RSS posting system.

There are certain tools out there that already do this.

You can do a simple search.

You don't really need anything extra fancy.

I suspect that a lot of the pay tools that claimed to do this on a wholesale basis are essentially just using rehash or slightly modified versions of some sort of free script.
 
do you guys pay for hosting for many years ahead?

i only have a few sites at the moment but i can imagine major headaches in the future having to worry about billing invoices etc..
 
Hey guys thanks for the response. What I meant by a 1000+ was 1000+ word article a month on a WP Blog. Appreciate the input :)
 
There are few PBN's maintenance tools which you can use. Something known as spankler I think.
 
I'm about to be the owner of my first PBN soon and this thread caught my eye. I am seriously thinking about getting MainWP plugins to manage all my domains from one main WP dashboard. There are great premium extensions that can be bought that look very promising to make everything so much easier.

However I have my concerns about them being discovered as being connected, because of the plugin and child plugins for the PBN domains.

Am I being paranoid? Or is this a viable solution for updating all the sites from one place?

just publish 5 to 10 post per month and build web 2.0 backlinks or high authority links

I like using FCS Networker to manage my BPN's it makes it very simple to handle 100's or even 1000's of them.
 
Being paranoid is better than being caught and to get all your domains banned, so better to play safe, and I honestly dont do much to maintain the network besides probably a few social signals once in a while
