How do you like the new BHW Layout?

This is one example of "why change something if its still functioning. not all changes are for the better". :) but i wont leave BHW just because the new layout doesn't suit me. :) there is a word in websters that says "adjustment". and i think i better try to understand that word. :)

Like the overall look but it's gonna take a little bit to get used to.
 
I like the old one better. It will takes some times to get used to the new one
 
I like the old one.. much more better than this! Like how we comment on the thread. Though its a new layout, we have to get used of it! :)
 
don't you guyz think that old one was better, but still new one is good and will get time to get adjusted...
 
No disrespect to the board but honestly, it looks really messy and load slower than before. I prefer the previous version to this one.
 
I don't like it either for several reasons:

1) The contrast between the elements of the layout is too eye-tiring
2) The brightness of the white is an eye killer
3) There are a lot of functions which are removed compared to the old layout, some of them are:
- UserCP link in the upper menu
- Links for the posts and threads in the user's profile page
- There are no notifications for the subscribed threads, when you get to the UserCP

4) A lot of functions are not working properly:
- I've to agree to the forum rules when I want to post a comment
- I'm not JR.Vip OR Donor, yet I can do blog posts, although it says I can't (Hope I won't get banned for doing so, just pointing out what's wrong.):

- Youtube video embedding is not working too, at least for me.

That's on top of my head, and I have to say I was used to the old layout, it was ULTRA functional and eye resting, at least for me.

Edit: One question? What's with the LIKE and THANKS button, what's the difference ?

P.S. ONE GOOD THING about the new layout is that Users with "." and "-" in their usernames can have their own avatars now, so that bug is fixed in this one :)

This is not a clean template. I'm finding difficult to find the title of thread LOL? There is no space. Also I think the marketplace will cry because of this. It's very hard to observe and make the difference between title threads.
 
Yes if there is any option to re-place old theme please let me know :(

The layout is alright but I still can't find the list of my own posts/threads :S
 
Hi, it looks better than the previous one, however,

I have one question that I am just wondering how to find all of my post or thread I started within the new layout??

It was easier to browse all post or threads in old layout, but now, I just could not find the posts I made before

Someone could help me please!!

Very Nice . . .I'm really impressed . It looks a lot more clean in here .
 
I think it looks very clean but agree, that bright white text kills my eyes after a decent amount of time. One thing i do notice and love is not having the damn lag
or timeouts, damn that was irritating.
 
Well, i believe i would have to adapt.

I can see some great stuff in this update.

Blog Post feature can be cool, i'm eager to see how it will work. For the new colors, i believe it is a matter of time to like them better than before.

However, here are the things which could be improved :

- Like Button is a too much, Thanks + Rep are doing the job fine. Maybe a dislike button ?
- Quick reply, i believe i liked the old one better as the grey background is a bit flashy.
- UserCP link (on going process)


For the rest let's see how it goes, anyway congratz for the job done. (and a facebook page is a nice idea, should be displayed around ;))

Similar Thread will be so usefull !
 
Please change it back or this site will see at least 20% decrease in traffic.
 
Honestly saying, we just need some time to adopt and get used to it. It's like a brand new car design. first it looks a little bit misunderstood, and then once you get used to it's new look, you don't like the old version
