I was thinking about this recently. Years ago, most of us learned new things by reading blogs, watching tutorials, or searching through forums.

Now it feels like many people just ask AI first.

Whether it is learning SEO, fixing a tech problem, writing content, or understanding something new, AI tools are becoming the first place people go.

So I am curious.

When you want to learn something new, where do you usually start now? AI tools, Google, YouTube, or somewhere else? :)

I just go to AI straight up really... It gives me direct answers to what I need

If it’s something I still can’t comprehend through text maybe because of the technicality, then I check YT to see someone do it live and just replicate it

It’s pretty much a routine for me nowadays and even if I have to check Google first, I’m mainly looking there to see which YT video it recommends for what I’m searching for

Yeh, I’ve noticed that too. Using AI has pretty much become a habit for a lot of people. Honestly, whenever I need to understand or analyze something, AI is usually the first place I go.

In this order usually... BHW, youtube, then maybe ai if it is technical
That’s solid. BHW for real insights, YouTube to see how things work, and AI when you need quick answers for technical stuff. :)

Makes sense. AI for quick answers, and YouTube if you need to see it in action. Pretty solid routine. :)
I usually start with AI for quick answers, then check YouTube or Google if I need deeper learning.
That’s a good approach.

Same here. It’s just faster to start with AI when you need to understand something quickly. It has become a habit for many of us now.

I improve at games by watching strong players explain their thought-process. For Slay the Spire, I watch the YouTuber Frost Prime coach others. For Chess, I use Stockfish to learn from my mistakes; but before that, I analyse the game by myself.

AI, AI, and more AI—the current AI wave has swept the globe. Compared to learning from videos and documents, I feel that the help that AI can provide now far exceeds our imagination.

These days I usually learn new skills by grabbing the basics from places like YouTube or Udemy, then jumping straight into building something small instead of staying stuck in tutorial mode. Real progress comes from doing, breaking things, and fixing them not just consuming content.

Lately, I usually start with AI to get a fast, clear overview, then verify or go deeper with Google/YouTube for real examples and edge cases.
AI is great for direction; traditional sources are still best for depth and proof.

Hello, usually listening to prodcast listening to succesful people on youtube also blackhaworld helps alot

I usually go to Coursera to see how they have structured the topic, look at the structure, take notes on each subtopic, and then search for PDFs on the topic that the experts recommend. With all that information, I create a GPT and start asking it questions based on what I am reviewing and learning from each subtopic.

Finally, I try to apply that knowledge in a project, activity, assignment, etc., because otherwise, I forget it.

I mean, i just use Claude ngl, all the stuff u can learn is already in AI.
