I think it is something called V.A.R.K:
Visual (looking -images)
Auditory (listening)
Read/Write (looking -words)
Kinesthetic (doing)

Are you left brained (analytic) or right brained (creative)?

I think I'm visual and kinesthetic. I prefer to look at images first then do things second for me to actually get them into my head. Like for SEO, I want to look at diagrams first then actually do what they tell me to do for me to really understand how to do SEO. I think I am left brained because I spend a lot of time analyzing and not enough time coming up with ideas.
