How do you keep yourself motivated?

ganja could be it.

Keeping myself motivated is actually one of the hardest thing for me in the IM, especially now - summer is coming and all that what comes with it.
Not much of a help here for you more like looking for some tips too, haha.
But the freedom and money should be enough motivation.

Every day around 6pm I slowly start to lose interest in work, initially getting things done but quality drops over-all on everything and I start making stupid mistakes...

Could be the cutting down on the ganja or my brain just acting up I've tried everything.
Set up downtime on every day and take vacations

I live in the moment and try to keep my sight on the goal I guess. Not easy always, but change is motivating.

You gotta learn how to do things when there is no motivation (or pleasure) in it.

Super difficult. I'm also struggling with that a lot.

Look at these two handsome boys

I'm enjoying the work I'm doing at the minute, I'm sure it's the whole 12 hours on 6 hours off thing. Gonna use Excel to write up a timetable until I have it built into my head <3

Set a time and work to that. I prefer to just say I will work X hours every day doesn't mean it has to be done in a block or anything like that, different work and time patterns fit different people.

Deleted member 923340 best way to deal with a shit job you been putting off is to just do it, grit your teeth and get it done. No one else is going to do it, so you might as well start now then you don't have to worry about it.

Thats how I deal with my shit tasks and I got plenty of time.

Man, time management is important when you work a lot. It's too easy to burn out for nothing. I try to keep it max 10h when I work at home to keep myself sane. :) 1h forced outdoors or something.

Yep. What works for me is to do that shit job as early as possible and get it over with.
For example, I try to get my workout as early as possible right after I wake up.

Working less actually motivates me to earn more. Do not work more then 6 hours a day. Enjoy life also. Work is not life. It is a small part of life
