Wake up at 4 am. You will get most things done before noon.

    high volume music really helps
and make sure you are taking breaks in between
9-16 is just 7 hours. with proper motivation you can easily double that

14 hour workdays will put a strain on your lifestyle and will adversely affect your quality of life.

One of the best things I did to increase productivity was hire a VA on the other side of the world. $100 a week is 20 hours a week of solid work. I send her a list every month of tasks I want done, and I rest easy knowing that more work is done while I sleep.

Outsourcing to quality individuals will always be the best productivity enhancement you can make.

Think about it. If you work for only six hours a day and spend two hours making sure everything is good for VA's, then have two VA's in eight hour differences working the same "shifts", you can essentially have work churning away 24 hours a day.

    EDIT: Here's this too: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/s...orking-at-100-productivity-and-making.820134/

    Desperately needs an update, though.

    Stop drinking coffee.
    I'm dead serious.

Maybe your headaches will go away as well.
    And do some proper detox.

    Breaks are mandatory.
    Try Pomodoro technique.
If you are focused there is a big chance you will do all your daily work in a less than 5 or 6 hours.

7 hours of work is optimum, listen to your body and don't push it to more than it's willing to work. And if you need more done then definitely consider outsourcing if you can afford it. If you can't yet, then get used to waking up at 4 am. You'll be surprised how so much can be done in few hours during the early morning.

I personally started to use Rescue Time, let it log what I actually got upto each day and then went over it. The initial shock of how much time I was wasting was enough to kick me into gear with me improving on it over time as I realised how I was wasting time.

Break it up. Whenever I can I get up pretty early, then work till noon doing all the bits and pieces that don't take long - emails, articles etc. At noon, I go do something else. Go to town/beach/sportsing or whatever. Come back at 4 ish and get a load more work done of the deeper stuff - mainly programming. That way, I don't feel like I've wasted the day as I've been out, and don't feel like I'm missing out on life by working into the evening.
