How do you host a clients Mobile website for a monthly fee?

Hey there,

I'm interested in making mobile websites for clients for low or no fee up front but charging a monthly fee.

I have no problem creating the sites, my question is what is best practice for the set up of the URL and hosting to retain control of mobile website, monthly updates and fees?

So you want to rent the site not sell it?

As for monthly, try to bundle some services along with the hosting and charge $30-$50 per month, that way people can't compare you to other host providers based on hosting alone.

Give value to make you monthly fee a good deal, offer 2-4 updates per month, coupons, email management, etc. something like that.

Sell them just your hosting plan with invoice coming to their inbox on a monthly basis.

If your using cPanel, maybe setup WHMC? It's like $10 a month, but it can automatically create hosting accounts and suspend/terminate them and handle all the billing and what not.

I charge a monthly feee, I have 3 packages, basic, standard and advanced, each would offer services based on the monthly fee, setup a direct debit so the customer only has to sigh the agreement once and the payments would automacaly go oout without sending an invoice every month.

i use duda. Cheap n easy to use. Hosting on their end. Work well for me, even thru many might disagree.

buy a .mobi domain, and host it on your server, add the redirect codes from the desktop site to the .mobi. its what I do and works well.
