In my niche, competitors keep creating fake GBPs to dominate. Has anyone successfully reported or removed fake listings lately?

just keep a log of them and report to google

Sometimes it takes a few follow-ups with Google support, but persistent reporting works.

If the address is fake or the business doesn't actually exist there that's much stronger evidence than simply saying the listing is spam.

All you can do is, just report it to Google. If it’s fake listing, it will taken down sooner or later.
