How do you guys find niches??

Go to Barnes and Noble and looked at some random ass magazine. Saw a product selling DVDs of construction equipment. That's it. Footage of construction equipment doing their thing selling for $20. Also saw a CD that contained "Train whistle" sounds.

Say what you will but people actually buy this stuff.

niches are all around, look around your room, every object is a niche

don't you see it?:)

I subscribed to private niche empire which gives me 10 niches every month (with articles), but then i just use those root keywords in Micro Niche Finder program, and find real gold nuggets - write (order) my own unique articles, and baaam!

There are also some services that digg for niches all the time (subscriptions), but i never tried any... Any experience out there about those?

Find any beginner internet marketing guide, and there will be a section on finding niches and keywords.

Also, you need to decide if you want to go after huge markets, and be a small fish in a big pond, or micro-niche markets and be a big fish in a small pond.

I just got my legal copy of the xfactor, and I'm very excited to read it after work, some time maybe this evening or so.

Use the smoking method. Smokers will hustle to a liquor store to get smokes before they go to bed so they aren't out when they wake up in the morning. They HAVE TO HAVE IT! Now try to find similar products or services and build sites around those. Anniversary gifts...acne products...smelly vaginas! lol

this is a very useful post thread for newbies like me for formulating thoughts . :)

Go to google insight and search for trend country by country if 3 countries that spends well on the internet is ranked high on a particular keyword then that is the Niche.

In my experience I believe the most important thing before finding any niche is coming up with a gameplan of how your are going to drive traffic.

My question would be, do you have any experience with ranking on search engines?

because thats the most important part to the formula. After that its jsut plug and play.

I use market samurai. Get the latest version from the download section or spend the $100 to buy it. It is completely worth it.

Whats an Xfactor? An ebook? Any links please?

How do you utilize flippa? I thought micro niche is niche with low popularity so its a small chance you will see sites in that niche being sold on flippa at given moment...

Recently I started using Scrape Box to find sub niches. Keyword scraper in SB is excellent and I find many long tail keywords with high search volume and low competition. Never tried the Wonder wheel scraper yet!

for me niches just comes like flash in your mind, when you think this niche can succeed you just go along with it.

i find my niches mostly on google trends. sometimes you can get the hottest word that's not yet competitive.
