Yup just as title says.

I don't really feel great unless I'm working towards something so I don't really enjoy games/TV, what do you guys usually do in these situations

Just wanna see how everyone deals with these issues

Hang out with the boys (or girls), always helps me out

Try meditation. It's been shown regular meditation can reduce stress.

Don't deal with burn out. Avoid burn out. Main aspect is getting enough sleep, eating wisely, doing some physical excercises daily : one can then still work 12 to 14 hours daily without burn out. Preferably take 1 day a week off from your work and spend that day doing things that relax you (watch a movie, go fishing, meet a friend, etc).

You have to know yourself, and that can take time. I tend to be online a lot, but I will have designated days or times to be off just for my mental health. There is nothing wrong in saying this, but I have a professional I get counseling with, which has helped me out a lot. I think the stigma with mental health has decreased, and to be more productive, you need to invest in yourself (counselor, gym, outside interests), so whatever you find that can get you to a place that is more centered, go with it.

burn out is a blessing, just a hidden one
it's a level up you don't see
to go there you have to become a savage or just give any possible effort you can

why people force their children to do or not to do things? because they wish best for them
you do exactly the same if you wish the best for yourself, otherwise you just chill until feeling is gone
it's just a time limited feeling

break that barrier and feel the power

I’m like you in the way that I’m not happy if I’m not working towards something. I don’t like games and stuff like that either.

I have multiple things I can work towards that are not related. For example, I make my money online with websites and SEO. I also have 25 acres of land that I purchased which needs a lot of work clearing out brush. I’m also going to build a small farm on it. I work between these two things plus vehicle/tractor maintenance projects. I have a backlog of home interior projects that need to be done to.

just alternate between your things that aren’t related.

also try pomodro. Pomodro has been a game changer for me as far as the burnout I feel as the day goes on no matter what I’m doing.

hope that helps

I read, watch movies and play with the dogs & cats :)
basically anything to get offline

no joke, workout, visit museums, do sports, and/or pay for a girl to play with. once you do enough physical activity, you'll be pleased to finally sit down and enjoy a video game or two
