How do you get traffic ?

DO one thing,Filter some top Alexa sites and start posting with you sites.E
Example: Pick Reddit and start posting there.
You will see automatically how good your traffic will be.

There are really many ways. To generate traffic i would suggest to create accounts in Social Networks like Facebook, Google+ and Twitter. Great an account which stands out, an account which people would love to follow. You need to create informative valuable content. Join groups within your niche, but only max. six per day, otherwise you will be banned. post regularly, find the best time to post something. Use a golden rule which calls 80/20. means post 80 % great valuable posts and 20 % to promote yourself. Don't spam your audience. Thats really amazing reply mate..at least give some example to him and you also know better he can google it but want to hear from you.

I'm very noob in this area as well, but I also suggest social networks. For an example, find a group on facebook related to your website's topic. I for an example found a group with 25K members. I joined and sometimes I share some posts there. It's not much but it does help.
