How do you get listed in the Knowledge Panel?

Seen people there, but don't know how they did it.

There are a few ways to increase your chances of being represented on Google's Knowledge Graph:
- Getting a Google+ Page (a must, unless you are a celebrity brand/person)
- Setting up a YouTube channel
- Creating a Google Freebase listing
- Using structured data
