To get customers to post reviews is like begging. I have resorted to paying for reviews but the accounts get taken down and is too fake. when a customer Is happy, they send us messages but dont post reviews. When they are unhappy like we forget to reply messages, they post 1 star review. Because they pay first and get the product later, I can't incentivise with post 5* and get a free something. So what can you do for them to post now and 5*?

Offer them a discount coupon if they post a review. That way you may get a repeat purchase as well as a review.

Maybe you should provide a direct link to your comment. Sometimes the easier you make the service for your customers, the more likely they are to leave a review.

Throw a QR code linking to TrustPilot, G Reviews, or that.

Review and get X% discount on your next visit/order.

Ping your email list with a similar plan?

Have you tried making it as easy as possible for them? I started including a direct link to the review page right in the thank-you email or text, along with a gentle nudge like, “We’d love to hear about your experience!”

Also, try asking for feedback a few times, but space it out. Sometimes, customers need a couple of reminders, and some people wait until they’ve used the product for a while before they feel ready to review.

Just ask your customers for a review after they buy, keep it simple, and show them you appreciate their feedback but you gotta find a way they can get in touch with you via comments or something.

Encourage happy customers to post reviews by making the process easy and natural for them. After a successful purchase, send a polite follow-up email or message thanking them and kindly asking for feedback. Provide a direct link to the review page, so they don’t have to search for it. You could say, “Your thoughts help us improve and help others make confident choices!” Consider creating a review reminder system, like a small "Thank You" card with every order, subtly inviting them to share their experience. Over time, these gentle nudges can build up genuine reviews without feeling forced or fake.

regardless of whether the feedback is positive or negative, you can offer all your commenting customers a certain amount of discount on their next purchases. believe me, right now, there’s no other solution but to encourage people to leave reviews
