How do you format your blogs?

Do you guys divide the sentences in the different parts of your article or leave it as a body paragraph?

If you divide the sentences, how many sentences are included in one block?

Do you use any web tools for this purpose?

Look at the top 10 results for the keyword(s) you are chasing and at how their blog is structured, how many headings, words, etc. I use Surfer but I don't follow their recommendations blindly - sometimes they are way off. Toss out the anomalies and look at not only who is ranking at the top, but what web pages are moving up over the last few months. Do a deep dive on the movers and check all the main on/off page variables.
