How do you find sources for rewriting?

I'm working on a niche site that requires a lot of rewriting as filler content.

My process is straightforward: let say that I am gonna rewrite "10 cooking recipes with potatoes". I will search that term on Google, visit the first 3 results, collect some recipes, then rewrite it.

Could you share your process of researching before rewriting?

Google should do just fine. Optionally, you search on Bing or other niche search engines.

I use the PAA section
Click most relevant questions and a bunch of ideas should show up

You can spin the keyword to get more content ideas, especially if it's filler content.
Following your example, instead of searching for recipes with potatoes, search for potato recipes for diabetes/gallbladder stones

Of course, that all depends on the niche, but you can also check such sources like scoop. I think you can read and note some articles from there for better inspiration.

Sometimes, when I'm out of ideas and I just need to produce content for a given niche, I just look on Constant-Content.

Just go to the buy section, select your category and look up the headlines.
A lot of the time, the headline is enough for me to get me going on an idea.

The word count the seller specifies is also a good indicator that you have enough ( or not ) things to talk about.
