how do you find profitable keywords when using Adwords

can anyone give me some advice on how to find profitable keywords when using Adwords to promote CB products?

no, i do not use keyword analyzer tool
i only use google's keyword tool to find some keywords hxxps://adwords*google*com/select/KeywordToolExternal
 
I didn't realize until I read your post EsClx that KE had this feature. Then I figured out the dropdown bar WOW. PPC analysis - need more sleep. I have been playing with it all night. That didn't sound too good, but ya know what I mean.
 
the External feature for GG is pretty good but it doesn't reveal the meat. What are the words paying. The PPC research is only an estimate and Nicho shared something the other day which really made sense to me and that is trying to fing the spread in the bids. It doesn't matter if the kw is getting 3.00 if the next bid down is .05. You want to try to find low volitility is the prices. Shit, now I sound like I am explaining futures trading. You get the idea, right? 1.00/.95/.90/.75/.70 for the bids.

you can enter a few keywords and it will give you about 300 new... use those and you can get more.
 
google's keyword tool is ok, but it is definitely not the best. i would get a keyword analyzer. keyword elite, adword analyzer, etc. if you do only stick with Google's keyword tool, make sure you research the competition and cost per click very well.Adwords is a real cutthroat game nowadays. you need to target the right keywords or your in for an ass-kicking.

There are a ton keyword tools out there, and supposedly wordtracker is the best, but I think the best way to make the money with the way Google is trying to kill the people marketing with ppc, is a site called hexatrack where you can track certain keywords over a period of time, and see the ads that are consistently in the top 3, so you know they are making money. If they weren't, they wouldnt be bidding the most for those keywords for 3 or 4 weeks straight
