I know there are plenty of sites for checking your keyword density. But I'm having a hard time understanding them.
I know that I'm apparently supposed to keep the keywords ranging around 1%-2%. But for example, I did a search on one of the domains I found while googling "how to cook a turkey", and it came up with the following results.
how to 9--2.15%
to cook 7--1.67%
cook turkey 6--1.43%
how to cook 7--2.51%
to cook turkey 6--2.15%
turkey 37--4.42%
turkey roasting 3--0.72
when turkey 2--0.48
I find it very confusing trying to calculate keyword density. Would anyone be able to help me with trying to understand this? Also is 1-2% really what I should be looking for? and is there a particular site I should be using for keyword density?
