How do you find auto approve wordpress?

People are talking about this, I am wondering how you can find these. I know that you arn't going to get anywhere near 50% of them being auto approve, but like 10%. How do you do this? I hear it is something with "Powered by Wordpress"?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look in the source code of a site that has that versus one that does not. I believe "powered by wordpress" is in one of the alt tags or something.
 
i would just do an http header check on /wp-admin or just append it in your browser and see if it resolves ok

Why do you need to find the admin panel?
 
If It has a wp-admin directory, chances are it's wordpress.
If course, some wp bloggers may change the name of the admin directory, while it's feasible, though not likely, that non-wp sites may have a directory called this.

True, also if they are smart enough to change the admin directory they are probably smart enough to block our spam. ;)

Just because a website has wordpress does not mean the admin has it set to auto approve comments

Maybe I'm lost here but I don't think most of you know what he's asking. He isn't asking how to find Wordpress blogs, he's asking how to find auto-approve Wordpress blogs.

To my knowledge, there really isn't a way. I've heard of people finding spam comments on Wordpress blogs, using it in some kind of search string to find all the other blogs that comment was spammed on. Chances are if that spam comment made it through it's probably auto-approve. Might take awhile to get a decent return though.

Sure fire way to find auto-approved blogs.

1. Find a WP blog.
2. Comment on it.
3. Refresh your browser.

If your comments on it already its auto-approved.
Doing this by hand would suck so use tools like ScrapeBox to automate it.

P.S. The "Powered by Wordpress" is a phrase that is commonly used in the footer of wordpress blogs and by searching this you will get a list of mostly wordpress blogs.

You normally use it in conjunction with "keyword". So you end up searching "Powered by Wordpress" "Dog training" this search would bring back wordpress blogs about dog training.
 
what does it finding out if the blog is wordpress or not give you hint that comments will be auto-approved???
 
It doesn't, just the OP mentioned the "Powered by Wordpress" footprint so I guessed that he wonted to find WP bolgs.

you can easy find them.

autoapproved blogs are worthless for backlinks... they usually have 1000+ outbound links!

Hey, who told you so? It might have 1000 outbound links if you dont want to put any efforts on your own and use the readymade supplied list... give some time to scrape the things out and you will love the autoapprove blogs... normally i get autoapprove blog with less than 20 outbound links many a times.
 
The method of finding a auto approved blog is:
1.) Find 1 auto approved first.
- comment on it if it sticks when you refresh the browser and it still there, then its
auto approved.
2.) Search any "common terms" or "powered by" or "created by" on it.
3.) Use that search term on your search window.

Basically this will give you a lot of auto approve blogs based on the search terms. The possibility of finding one is around 90%. To find more. Find another auto approved blog with a unique common term from the other blogs to avoid duplication.
