Hey everyone, that's a question for those who actually has experience in finding a winning or untapped product.
What criteria do you guys usually use before even start testing it? I know some people may say - use this or that tool and see how many sales each product has and just copy that, but I don't think it's a useful thing in a long run
Also if someone has some educational info how to develop this skill - would be highly appreciated
Thank you

To find a winning product, focus on these criteria:
1. Solves a problem: The product should address a real pain point or need.
2. Unique: It should stand out in the market with unique features or value.
3. In demand: Look for evergreen (always in demand) or trending products.
4. High profit margin: Low cost to produce but sells for a good price.
5. Market research: Find products with high demand but low competition.

What I used to do was scroll Facebook Ad library and just copy products from brands that were beginning to scale. You can tell because they start making more ads and become more consistent with putting at ads.

These days I just scroll Kalodata and take tiktok stuff to facebook. My criteria for seeing if a product is worth testing is just looking at its recent revenue, price to source, price it’s selling at and if it has been run up before. Don’t be stupid and go to the top sellers page and test the top 5 products.

To build up your product research eye there’s no other way other than to trial and error. Eventually you will get a feel of what is more likely to work and what won’t.

In my case I had a mentor before and he just told me to bring him a list of 20 products everytime and then he would hop in call and go through and explain why each would/wouldn’t be good to test. Eventually after a few calls he would just tell me to go test them all lol.

Great mentoring

finding trends is always optimal, not keyword, but actual trends

I'm already out of this dropshipping industry because of that, but when I worked with it, I tried to use some tools to find what my competitors were promoting, you can track and research it on TikTok Ads and Facebook Ads
