Do you look at organic traffic, ranking keywords, referring domains, topical relevance, content quality, outbound links, domain history, indexing, audience quality, or third party metrics?
I’d check topical relevance first, then organic traffic, ranking keywords, outbound links, and domain history. DR/DA is useful, but I wouldn’t trust it alone.
Organic traffic can be manipulated check the actual keyword the site is ranking for. Check backlink profile does it has edu gov and wiki links. Lastly check for outbound links are there any casino cbd or adult links.
I’d check the actual page pattern before the domain metrics. If every post looks like a guest post with no real author footprint and no reason for the page to exist except the link, the domain can still look clean on tools but be weak for outreach.
