Been a lurker for a while but recently have been making some more time to intentionally learn about this kind of stuff, the systems and mechanisms at play. I have a soft spot for early internet hacker ideals and ethics, above all that we can do things ourselves and build collective power and skillsets when we work together and share knowledge with care and focus. A lot of sunshine and rainbows, I suppose.
About me, my background is varied, I spent a lot of time in various city streets getting into some trouble but also making some surprising moves. Always worked for myself, can't imagine having a boss and never lasted in traditional employment. So my career spans a mixy mix of industries with uh, varying levels of social and legal legitimacy and some of them quite profitable. Now that I'm a changed man I figure I can use some of my spare change and security insights to wrap my head around this wacky new computer shit
