I think you need to cross certain posts count to be able to pm

You need 50 posts.
But, That does not mean that you need to start spaming!
If you need to talk to someone, comment on his post "please DM me" and usualy they will contact you

after a certain post you can DM
but you cannot start selling or advertising by DM.
if you want to sell something or advertise then get Jr. VIP.
even after that to sell something you can only DM "want to buy" or "hire a freelancer" sections and DM against their requirement.
