How do you determine that your backlinks are indexed or not?

I have a new website. My site was created on 11th Jan. Have 2 articles on it.

My domain is something like keywordsomething.co

I wasn't able to get the desired domain so I choose .co ( I read various article and also saw video by mattcutts and he said .co is treated as .com and other general tlds )

I build some backlinks to the website. I bought PBN, 50 High DA backlinks and 100 gov & edu profile links.

Problem is they are neither shown by webmaster tools nor by ahrefs. But almost 50% of them are already indexed by Google. ( I have checked them manually, each and every link ).

1. My PBN is indexed as I can see the backlinks in my webmaster tool.

2. I did some guest posts on buzzfeed and storify. Both of my articles are indexed on Google, but only Buzzfeed appears in webmaster tools.

3. I already had 5 wordpress plugins in my portfolio and they are published on official wordpress.org repository. I created ******** backlinks from them to my main site. My plugins get 100+ installation per day.
Still not shown in webmaster tools.

4. I created youtube video and it ranks on 16th position on Google. It has backlink to my post. Still nowt shown in webmaster tools.

But ironically, the site which scrapped the video along with the URL, is shown in webmaster tools. WOW.

5. I did 5 Quora answers, and they all are indexed on Google and also brings my new website, 5-10 unique visitors, every day. Still not shown in webmaster tools.

6. My 50 High DA links are indexed on Google ( I check them manually by placing the URL on Google and by searching them ). But none of them appear in Google webmaster tools.

7. 100gov & Edu links are not indexed, but I have submitted them to some service for the index.

Question is.

What is wrong with Google webmaster tools and ahrefs. Why they are not indexing my links.

I don't care about ahrefs, but why Google is not showing the backlinks in webmaster tools.

How long should I wait ??

I really need your suggestions.

It is because I have .co domain??

You need to wait a little while. Webmaster takes time to update the links. I don't think it because of your domain. Sometimes I saw web 2.0 would appear on GWT after 2-3 months later. Everything works in the slower process now a little bit (from my end). Like I had the same issue as yours. After 3-4 months later I see the links appeared on GWT. So have patience.

EDIT: It is not related with .co domain(TLD).
GWT takes time to show the weak authority backlinks. You can wait up to 2 to 3 months. It is a common problem for all new site. Don't worry for that.

And how do you know that it has anything to do with .co?

What makes you think that a certain domain extension is "weak"?
