I think one of the most important aspects of crypto or even investment generally is track record.

Especially now, when there are so many people out there looking to scam users, it's why they always advise DYOR before investing, checking the team and what they've done before etc.

It applies to everything in crypto. This is how I even chose the exchange I use, if I'm to do that again today, some of what would interest me is the fact that Bitget saw a 400% increase in its userbase in 2024, which tells me a lot of people are moving there meaning they offer services that all of these guys find appealing.

There are so many examples like these, you just need to know where to look.

I'm using Binance, Gate and Cryptomus, happy with it

Bitget & Mexc - are running crazy since last year & gain a lot of new users.
I have personally use MEXC - for last 2 years, no issues so far

For majority cases, binance is enough. However, if you want to buy new coins at early stage , you might have to buy on other new exchanges. Read their reviews first to decide.

I will not easily trust a new exchange like bitget so easily. There is lot of risk there especially with large amount of funds.

Bitget isn't a new exchange, been around for over 5 years. Their growth from 20M to over 100M users from last year till now is a sign that there doing something right don't you think??. In terms of Volumes they're also up there. See their current Protection funds valuation. I
