Ah, so you're finding them on freelancing websites? I missed where you mentioned that. Of course, you'll have poor writers there trying their luck and hoping you'll accept whatever crap they come up with.

I hire usually based on recommendations in Facebook groups. High-quality US or UK writers who research and can follow a brief generally charge accordingly though, because they know their worth. So yes, I'd say budget matters.

As you say though, maybe it doesn't so much if you're looking for writers to apply for your job.

Hire a native proofreader and teach him how to use Jarvis

4-5 articles, each about 2k words

superb writers rate is 55-80$ per 1k words depending on topic.

previously working with payday loan cpa leads, 500$ per article is normal.

now working with agency with 2 months delivery time cause of number of clients. 100 articles. 80 of them are featured on google snippet without any moves (indexer, backlinks etc).

but the most pain in the ass is foreign writers different of english. for example finland writers rate is 100$ per 1K words.

besides, difficult topics such as gambling also bring pain.
