How do you deal with competitors contacting your boss/client

I work doing online marketing for a fairly big company and the owner gets a shitload of seo companies soliciting him. One picked out some small cities in the area I'm not ranking them for and tries to trick him into getting a meeting. Eventhough I'm ranking for some major competitive keywords. The boss seems really happy with me its just annoying when he forwards these competitor emails to me, you guys ever run into that?

Business owners will get solicited non stop and if they question about potentially going with other companies, you might want to re-iterate the value in the service you bring them as it sounds like he might be on the fence about switching to them if their proposal was good. Always over deliver and make sure they know that they are getting the best possible deal and you won't have any problems with competitors.
