Not a tough one if you have a system in place. Simply find a huge lists of web 2.0, blog comment, socialbookmarks, wikis, press release, doc sharing, videos e.t.c. Read their submission processes and do just that, each platform is slightly different. Got a good private network tutorial up for grabs.:)

So, you should read more threads on this forum as start.
Creating a backlink to your site is simple as talking and hard as making. You should make (write) content about your website on a blog/forum/comment and include there the link to your website (hidden or not) this is how the CRUDE backlink works. I guess that was your main concern. Now how many keywords you have to use in your content, how to write the content and how to setup your backlink in the content - I'm sure that you'll find it our yourself.
 
Find your blog's competitors

List down their blog roll sites

Filter these based on Page Rank and RELEVANCE to your blog

Contact them and ask them if you can write high quality GUEST BLOG POSTS for them based on the themes/topics THEY want.
 
I agree with Verilix, If you are doing good with getting the Seo done then why bothering yourself learning it from scratch. Still Spend some time here, i would say a month maybe. Get involved with people and read,reply in threads. I am sure you would be able to learn good enough.

are good but you have to do it naturally with quality and relevant sites.
 
I suggest Web2.0, Guest post, Video opt will give an effective outcome.

First, before all of the link building starts, I make sure my site looks nice. This often means buying a premium theme or using an exceptional one that is free. I believe that good content is necessary so I ensure that my site will provide some value to the visitors. Finally, I will try getting links from guest posts or purchase a few domains with authority to link to the site. It may be an expensive method, but it is worth it for a site that will bring in money every month.

Due to the fact that you're posting in the White Hat section I suppose you really want to stay in the play-safe area? Go with Directory Submissions! Get your site on all the relevant business listings and social media platforms. Most of the time that should be enough if your niche isn't too competetive.
