How do you create backlinks?

If you read the title correctly you might be shaking your head right now but yes it's true, I do not know how to create backlinks. You might tell me the IM is not for me and that I should leave and I understand. I've always been too lazy and I've always paid people to create backlinks and get my site's ranked. Fortunately some of them are on the first page of google under the keywords that I used. So anyways, like the title suggests how do I create legitimate do- follow backlinks? This might also be a plot twist, I've been creating no-follow backlinks for a few months now.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.

if you want to create the backlinks then there is too many options to create..
directory submission
bookmarking
forums postings
guest post on blogs

etc.

Before you outsource something its always best to do it yourself so that you know what you're buying.

There are a lot of links you wouldn't want to point to your main money site too. I highly recommend knowing what links these are.

I would suggest creating content and then posting it on free Web 2.0 blog platforms that linkback to your website. Also create a social media fan base with Twitter, Facebook, Google + and have others share your content on your website.

Another good way to get links is to comment on peoples blogs

Software. There are diff. strategies, but in short, I use software to builds a wide variety and diversity of links without using my main anchors, then I rent high PR links to power my sites to the top 10 for my money terms.

You can build some web2.0 using some unique article. also you can do some article submission and document sharing.

take advantage of te web 2.0 and authority sites, be sure to enhance your tier 1 with powerfull links as tier 2 like WIkis, soocial bookmarkings, Blog comments, etc

that's what I've been doing, I'll still buy them but it's good to know how to create them.

I'm guest blogging, and on the danish market, it is still possible to make crappy links without getting deranked. Or, well, i haven't received any penalty yet. I talk about blog comments, forum links, sigantures etc.

Keep reading the forums and start to learn super basic HTML over at Code Academy. Knowing a small amount of code/HTML will take you very far in IM and SEO.

if i want to create backlink , i use different way like blog comments. guest posting,forum post,directory submission,social bookmarking etc.
after that , if my website is specific topic ,index regular to get traffice and crate strong backlink in Google and others.

Commenting on youtube also helps. Point is to try different things and find out what works. Then as many people here will say scale up. However I'd say not to scale up. You don't want to draw too much attention from big G.
