    Hi,

I want to know how to create 1,000 proxies that can be changed weekly. Does anyone know what is required to be able to do this?

This could help a few others as well...

    Thanks

NOTE: I'm not interested in buying proxies from a proxy site. I want control...

In all seriousness though, it depends if you want to use public proxies or private ones.

Public proxies are a lot more upkeep because they die quickly.

    Private ones are more expensive.

    Let's say you buy 1000 IP's at $1 each, that's $1000 a month.

You can setup proxies many ways.

What I would do is, buy a Dedicated Server, install proxy software, then tell your host you want to order additional IP's... 1000 of them.

There might be better ways, this is just my 10 cents.

    Software:
    Apache + mod_proxy
    HAProxy
    Privoxy
    Squid
    Varnish (reverse proxy)
    WinGate
