How do you complete the process? Finance Related Advice Needed

There's an item I am interested in purchasing worth around $3000 and I want to do the bank transfer as they only have this option available for the payment.

The company has provided me with these details. To complete the payment process here's the problem the company is not providing me account number so, is it possible to pay without an account number? I am doing this first time. My bank account needed an account number to add a beneficiary. How do you guys complete the payment process?? Help me, please

maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think you can pay if you have no account number. Like, who are you going to send the money to ?!?

Did they at least give you a name? I think some banks have names for their accounts, so if they have given you a name you might be able to use that...

And what bank are they working with by the way?

first of all, sorry for the late reply (my internet was down for 30+ hours, I barely managed to log in today).

Secondly, please use quotes next time, or else we can miss your replies. The only reason I was able to still see this is because the tab was left opened since the internet went down and as soon as I came back to BHW I saw the tab opened, but otherwise I would have definitely not seen your reply because you didn't quote me...

Thirdly (and most importantly), I think the details that company gave you are enough. I mean, I assume that the table you posted is what the seller gave you, and if that's the case you already have all of the important info (I don't know why I've missed this initially, sorry!)

So yeah, you can go ahead and make the purchase safely, ABN AMRO is a reputable bank... well, as reputable as most banks are, but let's not get into this side of things

Noted, Thanks for your reply. Now, the issue is my bank wants an account number to add the company as beneficiary but the company has not provided me the account number so, how to pay in this case? I have contacted my bank relationship manager and he told me same to ask for account number from company to complete the transaction but the company told me that the information they provided is more than enough.

But I don't know what else you can do... I would contact the seller again and tell them that it's your bank that needs account number not you, maybe they'll concede and give you one...

If you're doing the transaction online (so, without having to talk to a bank representative via phone) you can try to add the company's name / beneficiary's name into the Account Number field and see if it works. You won't risk anything because you need to confirm your details before clicking on "send", so you can try this to see if it works. If it does work, you can try with a small amount first, like $1 or $2 and then contact the company and ask them for proof that they've received this small payment. If they did (and if they SHOW you proof, this is very important), you can then make the purchase safely.

If you're not allowed to use the company / beneficiary's name as account number and the company still doesn't understand this, or they don't want to give you a number then it's probably a red flag that you're going to get scammed, so I wouldn't make the purchase in this case....

Lastly, you could talk to a representative from your bank, tell them that the seller is using ABN Amro as bank, and play the fool with the representative by asking them whether this bank is legit, and what to do if they refuse to give account number, etc. Basically tell them everything you've talked to the company but in such a way that you seem retarded and don't understand how banking transactions work, just to see what their response is. Maybe they'll help you eventually, sometimes these things do work, oddly
