I have a (physical) product that I've sold online for 8 years (the first 7 years were on eBay, but then eBay raised its fees, removed the sellers ability to leave neg feedback, and forces you to use Paypal, all three of which are dealbreakers for me), and the last 1 year from my own website.
Anyway, I've just recently added an aweber opt-in list and am getting some signups with the "free report" I offer, but I haven't noticed an increase in sales yet.
I need some extra related crap on my site to sell.
Understand that when I started this venture, it was simply for the sake of providing value (actually, it's cuz some douchebag online was selling a really shitty version for too much, obviously ripping people off, and that pissed me off). So, I made a great product and told people how awesome it was and it sold. I wasn't thinking of it as a business, no shady IM tactics, no teasers, none of that crap, just "here's my product, it's awesome, buy it if you want it." And it sold. I was selling mine for 1/2 the price of the douchebag, and eventually he stopped selling it. And then I raied my price 4x and it kept selling. lol. I win.
So my point is, it's not like I can easily apply IM concepts to the formula because I wasn't following a formula when I made it. There's no funnel, there's no mile long landing page (which wouldn't really work for my product anyway), etc.
Is there any way I can come up with ideas for upsells without having to redo everything? My product is very specific and I'm racking my brain trying to come up with related things that would actually be worth an upsell.
Sorry for being vague, I don't want to give away my niche or product.
