HOW do you climb Country Specific Google SERPS

Just a quick question


To anyone with knowledge about Country Specific Google and how to Rank highly..

I have a number 1 ranking for Google USA

But in Australia and UK, Ireland etc, im number 7 or 8 in the SERPS


What methods are there to rise to the top in the country specific search engines?

I have tried adding an Aussie address to my pages to see if that will do anything. But absolutely no change in the last 6 months so i cant say its a good technique any longer?

Any other ideas fellow SEO people????

My host is based in the USA but i have no interest in marketing to the USA and prefer UK or Aussie demograpics... what the gen?

Different locations of different data centres throw up different search results.
And of course a country specific domain url will skewer that as well.

When you say "address" I assume you mean .au domain name and not a physical contact address showing Australia.
Odd how you are not having much success here since the competition is smaller than US for instance.
Try changing a static site to a wordpress for awhile/updating and backlinks.
Then flip back to the static..

OK let me explain

start by adding an specific aussie section on your site. then look for 2.0 properties in AU and forums create profiles and leave your link + keywords there try to no to look spammy but do your best link wheels on AU sites will help you out.

Plan b) Hire a seo expert like me lol

Get many local HIGH PR backlings (page PR)

Get a server in AU and get backlinks form sites hosted in AU.

You should try getting quality links from that particular country. I mean aim for high ranks in the server of that country (say Ireland, Australia).
