Because for stocks we check the fundamentals of the company, the profits and loss. But how do we analyse the value of a particular coin what are the factors? is crypto only for pump and dump? I've seen mega pump in $DOGE and $BTT. I just want to ask do you guys decide some factors before placing order?

It depends on if you are investing or trading, just like stocks.

Stocks have fundamentals, crypto has what are known as 'token metrics'. You can Google it for a greater understanding, but it involves similar factors as a stocks 'metrics' (market cap, outstanding shares/tokens, etc.)

There are some great, solid long term blockchain and crypto projects and there are plenty pump and dumps, just like stocks but with a much higher volatility.

Now to answer your question on a personal level: I pay people who eat, live and breathe crypto and follow their calls most of the time. I have services for investing and also a group that sends out trade signals for the more 'pump and dump'-y type trading plays I like to use to fund my long term investments.

You check the coin project
read coin whitepaper
check the team
Those are the 3 tips you should follow each time you select a coin to invest

Team behind the coin is very important. Purpose of the coin is also very important, does it really solves some problem should be the question you ask.
