Hi,

I am starting now with affiliate marketing. I don't know how to choose a product to promote :S What standards should i be looking at when choosing a product? Anything specific?

Thank You :D

From my experience try to go for something that has a gravity of at least 7. Having said that, going for a product that has a gravity of 500 is also a bad choice, it means there's lots of other people selling it and thus, more competition. The good range seems o be around 7-50ish.

For me, high gravity and then blast it on twitter to very targeted users with a program like TA... Search for TA on the social network threads if you don't know what it is...

HTH

Take a look at the pitch page and see if it's something YOU would be likely to buy?

Do you think casting it for 45,000 twitter users is a good choice ( they are not targeted) ?

I pick niche first and then look through click bank for product... Any gravity above 100 is good although most of the time i go for top gravity products... I go for SEO model so i don't bother about ad costs...

Twitter is good thing lol Just yesterday some one twitted one of my url on his/her own and suddenly in 1 hour i received 1 around 1500 uniques... I was not promoting any offer but only adsense was on that site and it made me good money... So i think 45k twitter user is good option.... LOL blast them... :)

Thanks Buddy! Does clickbank notify you via email when you make an affiliate sale?

I don't know if they have any such option but it doesn't take much time in checking through their site... I use several CPA networks and first thing I do at the time of login is to check through stats and revenue... This helps me deciding what to do further...

just started click bank - its way better than amazon -- amazon is shit compared - 50 % commsion on CB vs 4% on amazon wtf

iam lol to the bank

Anything with high gravity (tells me people are making sales), if it's been around on the marketplace for a while (again, tells me it's making sales to stay in the marketplace), OR if it's just a good fit for the keywords or niche I'm in.

I usually go for gravity above 60. Sometime high gravity products can be too competive with lots of affliates promoting it. Its good if we use a mixture of low and high gravity and test it.
