Hey guys,

my question is how do youse build backlinks for pages that are not in English? Pretty much all tools I have only find English pages. So far I have found out that for smaller keywords it works to have Backlinks of English Speaking Pages but for bigger keyword it obvioiusly does not work as well because obviously google looks for content and not just a back link with the Anchor text.

So my question how are you approaching such pages?

My advice is to look for pages in that language and comment on blogs and use forums...Non English forums and blogs are having less strict rules that English language ones. SUbmit to local directories, local ad services..

Also reciprocal linking with other blog are easier with these type of blogs, if it is your language and country, you can actually make friends online and meet them offline, too.

You should try to use similar strategies on on-english forums, directories etc.

But adding some links to english sites doesn't hurt - it's natural someone writes about something in different language (if it's cool enough).

In my experience it doesn't matter that much. A link from a English site to a non English site is also a link and passes PR. But mixing it with the same language sites is obviously the best you can do.

Just write an article on English and place the original work in brackets.

Like: I have been seeing a lot of cars (ro. mașini) on the streets.

My articles always get accepted when I do that.
