Should you just give up and live the rest of your life wondering what you shoulda/coulda done different. Or should you use it as fuel and let it motivate you to go harder then you ever went and to go above and beyond that they actually become proud of you for not letting up, thru all the daily struggles of this thing called life ? This has been is eating me alive literally and left me in Stuck-mode. Especially when you know you can do so much but the brain won't let you break out of this fucking comfort spot that's not even comfortable but more of a fear of failure/Change. How do you break out of this vicious cycle that the brain traps you in ? Smart people that have been in this situation I could use some solid advice please.

You're beginning to consider the dichotomy of things. That's a good sign. It means you're ready to push forward. And you already know the answer.

Sometimes, when I think too far into the future, it puts me in the exact same 'comfort' spot that you're talking about. Spend some time to map out your goals and just dive right in. Remember, to make your life productive, you gotta start by making your day productive. It's as simple as that. Focus on the day and everything else will fall into place.

You'll always be the hero who took down GreenGoblin on here, buddy.

That's true, but having the right support goes along way. Lets say a soldier at war, would he be more confident with his comrades or if he was out on the field by himself. I know what you mean tho and that's the part that is making me think why not just do it for yourself/family. Having that kind of doubt makes it that much more difficult.

He actually made me a much better man today and I never lost a thing in real life or online ever since. He did make me look stupid in front of close family and friends so every time I want to do something online for myself this anxiety of failure makes me literally paralyzed. I have to go for long walks to get a hold of my brain taking over with doubts and regrets of the past.

But this Mentor is/was the only one that actually believed in me and I hate that I messed up my chance step up. I will still continue to strive and If i made it this far that is all i need. but seriously how do you make the brain chill out ? I hate getting so anxious that I end up not doing nada

Simple. You stop thinking about what has happened. And then you start thinking about what can happen and how you're going to make it happen.

Easier said then done but your right. Just have to figure out a schedule that is manageable and stick to it. Full time father husband and full time work leaves you with little time to follow your goals. I have no choice but to man up ps I hate complaining in general so thanks for letting me vent a little.

Having a child should be the best form of motivation. Be the mentor to her. Show her what confidence looks like. Be the example of success.

The only reason to look into your past, is to remind yourself of how far you have grown in experience. If you are doing things that aren't bettering yourself, minimize them. Being a solid foundation for your family, utilizes the same skills to be a real life bread winner.

So quit being a little bitch. Look yourself in the eyes. Choose to be a man.
