how do you become really rich?

hard work.
work smarter not harder.
take it one step at a time.

you dont build an empire overnight, its years of sweat and tears.

dont get a 9-5. do something unique.

My secret is: Focus on earning money instead of saving money. Money in the bank is nothing compared to consistent money coming into the bank.

everywhere I look, there are rich people. There are people who could stop working today and do nothing for the rest of their lives.

example: my cousin. I don't know too much about him because he is a very private person, but I know he owns like 3 apartment buildings (note: not 3 individual apartments, but apartment buildings), each building containing like 20 apartments...He probably owns more, but I only found 3 by doing a little investigation online.
He is a doctor who makes probably $2000 a day just from his practice.
oh, and he owns a couple of clinics. and he owns an optometry practice.

I don't even know what motivation people like this have for working. why work when you have all the money you could ever need?

how do you become really rich like this?
PS the answer is not "have rich parents" I know for a fact this guy has received nothing from his parents.
WTF are you talking about.
Someone who owns 3 apartment units like that has probably more mortgages to pay up every month than most people can imagine. You should ask someone who owns apartment units if they can just stop working for the rest of their live. Really? Do you know the kind of stress those people go through, its a lot of weight in your back, at the same time you do make money.Trust me buddy, they are constantly on the clock working towards paying their mortgage, they just can't stop working especially if he is making 200 a day from his practice and has all of these mortgages to pay every month.

What world do you live on?

-Get rid of all debt-Stop taking out car loans and etc. If you don't have the cash, don't buy it.
-Stop buying useless crap, only buy the necessities.
-Live below your means. Eat Ramen Noodles every night if you have to.
-Save,save,save...Take a set amount out of each pay period and put it up. Don't touch it, no matter how great that new iWhatever is. If you don't have enough money to save then you must do what it takes to make more. Set up an emergency fund, bad crap happens all the time. You don't want to go in the hole over an emergency.
-What do most rich people have in common? They make investments. Start making investments, stocks, real estate or etc. Make your money work for you. There's always a risk but the rewards can be great. Find something with a good Return on Investment(ROI), whatever investment your comfortable with.
-Listen to a man by the name of Dave Ramsey. Above is Dave Ramsey's teachings in a nutshell. He did(might still) have a show on NPR radio. It's a nonprofit radio station. You might find video uploads on YouTube.

To become really rich in life you have to find your life mission and pursue it.
It doesn't necessary mean that you will bank $$$$$$$$. Sometimes $$ plus joy of life is a fortune.

D.

Actually I do know and the answer is property management , they get paid to deal with the stress, the upkeep and keep it full. They get paid from the amount of renters and I can almost guarantee this doc has a management and maintenance company taking care of all that. Also, yes you could stop working on three apt building all depending on how many unit are rented/cap rate, their rate (location of the units does play a factor).
And most likely if the doc has these other practices he probably own one or more of his units outright, no mortgage. Apts are actually a good source of income and depending on when purchased and how could have picked them up for a super deal. 20 units is really not that expensive depending on its location/city/state.

You get rich solving people's problems, including your own, and charge money for it. The more you solve their problems, the more money you make. There is no secret golden formula other than advanced psychology and 5 star customer service to make money in ANY niche. There is no "gold mine" if you can't get down the fundamentals.

You can lease a BMW for $150/month. Drive that leased BMW in any poor neighborhood and you will receive gazes of people who think you're so cool. So cool. This is why people buy/lease luxury cars, to show off. It isn't about the quality of the automobile, please. They saw someone else with it, were impressed, and want to get that feeling. Thing is, coupled with people being impressed are those who are depressed and those that despise.

Ive been looking for that car dealership.. :)
