I have been thinking about this for some time now. I have had $500 days and I have had $0 days too. I would feel HAPPY when I had the $500 days and very sad when I had the $0 days. But, what I realized was, no matter how much money I save or how good I invest it, I can never attain "financial freedom".
Financial freedom is the time when you really don't care about the money. You walk into any hotel or shop, buy or eat what you want, flip out your credit card and pay without even noticing the exact the bill amount (ofc we would look at the bill and pay appropriately even then, but i am talking about the idea of being completely free from the worries about money).
So what does it really take to become SUPER rich? After a lot of thought, i realized that what it takes is - One big hit! One BIG opportunity.
You may be willing to work 20 hours a day on small $50/days websites or $500/day websites. But, you still won't achieve the state of financial freedom that way. But, on the other hand, if you get an idea which you estimate to bring you $100k/ month or $1million/month, that is what will make you real rich.
I stumbled upon a similar idea recently while I was brainstorming with my brother. If everything goes as planned, I can setup a passive $100k/month income stream in almost 6 months. When you have that guy feeling that your idea is going to work, you should follow it. Because it is all worth it. I have many other projects going on which have $5k/month passive income potential but I know putting all my effort into the $100k/month idea is the right thing to do. That is why, I have made my brother incharge of the smaller projects.
I believe that is what everyone should do. Like they say, TAKE ACTION! Don't fear the consequences, just do it! But remember, do not test the depth of the water with both feet, meaning, don't put ALL your money into just one idea at any time. My this new project will be funded with $30k that i have spare after putting a lot of money into fixed deposts, other websites and stock market. You should always have safe money ( something to fall back upon incase everything goes down).
This is just my perspective of looking at things, so many may disagree with me or would like to add to it. I would really appreciate whatever you have to say or add. I like learning from other peoples' experiences and become more mature and seasoned.
