How do you avoid honeypots?

I came from the security industry and honeypots are setup and used by security firms to trap for in the wild malware and for new spam techniques as well. So depending on your exploit you have to be in tuned to the particular industry to avoid detection.

You got it backward. Proxies have nothing to do it. It's the URLs you must be careful...as you may ended up with Spamhaus honeypot URL(s) in these URL lists.

Nothing is guaranteed. As long as you understand that the proxies are treated like regular IP from your cable/DSL, you will be fine.

Typically, I pass on the Spamhaus blacklisted IP costs to my private customers, which they need to pay for it ($50-200 per private IP). Then, I advise them to plan carefully on dealing with the url lists made from scrapebox, xrumer, and other bot tools, or from scrapebox list providers (here and outside of BHW).

There is no such thing as "magic" stuffs coming from these tools - spam and walk away. They will come to haunt you if you are not careful.

Bottom line:
The users are 100% responsible for whatever they did, not providers.

Why don't you charge customers the blacklist removal fee due to the Spamhaus-infected IPs that they are responsible?

Honeypots are 'traps' usually set up by the authorities to locate (and usualy put in jail ) hackers.
If you're just spamming FB or youtube you have got nothing to worry about. And if you're involved in some illegal activities they probably already have got your personal data if you're asking such a stupid question.

Ordinarily, I'm the last person to get disrespectful in board discussions, just as I was in this case. You both said the question was retarded and then implied that I was stupid for asking it. Well, the "stupid" part is up for debate but it's not that big of a deal to me. But as the cliche goes, don't dish it out if you can't take it.

I was involved in email marketing back in its heyday (10+ years ago) and made a lot of money off it until I stopped in 2008. But after a few years of attempting to write as a sole source of income, I'm back for the same reason everyone else is: money.

Long story short, I'm not a clueless noob myself just because I have 30-some posts on this board. You are a donor and respected member of this community and I certainly recognize and applaud that.

A honeypot is a trap that's used to identify, avert and, to some extent, neutralize attempts to hijack information systems and networks. Simple...
