How do you acquire app customers feedback?

Just wondering how other app devs are getting their users feedback?

Facebook has given me a little, but it's a tiny amount of people that will bother to send email with feedback, concerns or suggestions.

Show a custom alert dialog that redirects to Google Play only if the user submits 4 stars or more.
 
Alert that comes up after x number of hours or days asking for a rating/feedback, or add a help/feedback/questions area right in your app where they can fill out and send it directly to you
 
I've pretty much got that in place currently.

It prompts user after a few days with:
"Do you like this app"
Yes - goes to playstore rating page.
No - creates email asking for feedback.
 
Have you seen tactics uber used with referral codes? If your business model allows, you can implement them. But as always filling that design gap is crucial.

Do you mean like where uber would give you and your friend credit for referring?

There's a couple problems with this strategy I'm not sure how to execute in my situation.
1. I'm giving the app away for free at the moment, so there is no perks to offer.
2. If I make the app paid, I'm limited to 500 free coupons so the scalability plus manual time is not great.
3. Uber had millions in budget and calculated the Cost per acquisition was justified for the lifetime profit per customer.

Nice one, but trust me it would be wayyy better if you just add views of 5 stars wich directs to google play if user click 5 stars and send to feedback if user click 3 stars or lower, Also it should appear after few days, i'm using this technique and it's getting me high value reviews
 
That's a pretty good suggestion, 4 or 5 stars, yes send them to rate, below that, send them to hell! haha
Sort of what i'm doing now with the Yes or No question. But I like your method its good.
 
Most ppl don't bother rating apps, especially if there is nothing in for them.
Just offer them some goodie/bonus or something and I am sure it will work.

Haha. It is chicken, lettuce , slice of a tomato and chili mayo.
You can also ad a slice of avocado to it, but I preffer it without.
 
Very nice indeed. The basic sandwhich is so under rated. Add a touch of salt and a pinch of sauerkraut and it's dinner at yours Sir!
