i couldnt find the unlock instructions on the website are u sure it's there because i checked on google i couldn't find it

Which version? Up to 4.0.2 you can do with software. 4.1-4.3.5 requires a gevey sim adapter. 5.0.1/4.11.08 baseband you can jailbreak but not unlock yet. Go to iclarified

Place your iPhone in the freezer for 1.5 hours and when you take it out it will be jailbroken and unlocked. It resets the circuits.
Worked perfect for me.

Use a gevey sim. If you can't find it locally, order it from ebay.
