Hi, how to understand which keyword is a "type in" traffic? Like people directly typing in browser instead of searching on google?

Let's take skin care niche for example. We have lets say:

skin care
skin care tips
skin care for men
skin care for women

Do you think people can directly type these into browser or they search on google?

Want to understand how to identify type in traffic keywords?

The type into browser vs. search on google is Missionary/Doggystyle. It's the same shit, same results and as far as SEO is concerned there is 0 difference between the two. What are you getting at?

This is not about result. I just wanted to figure out how to know which keywords are they mostly type in for a different purpose.

Are you meaning how to figure out searchers intent? Because typing in the browser bar is the same as a Google search if that’s their default search engine. It’s the same thing & produces the same result.

I'm talking about this one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type-in_traffic

Like people will type www.property.com because this is self explanatory.

But how do I figure out other keywords that people will mostly type in and add .com at the end in the browser? instead of just searching on google....

They browse the keyword in the search bar and google suggests to them what people are searching for right now or what is on trending.

Monthly search volume, Trends data, Traffic data, you will have to analyze these and compare with competing domains to get an estimate of that.
Type in keywords are related to direct traffic source too so that can also be a deciding factor.
These keywords have been very popular over years with EMD's which most search engines now and then dismiss as useless thing (don't ever believe them).
But if you are looking for SEO tool that would give you exact type in information then I don't think any tool does that in my knowledge.

take the help of semrush tool. they have magic feature

Use Answer The Public(.)com No Spaces in URL obviously. You don't need to pay for the "scraper family" of products necessarily.

It used to be a free tool, (maybe requires registration to get csv) but it appears they no longer allow downloading all the results in a CSV file. See image below one of a bunch of results for skincare. I found this site several years ago and have used it for quite a few things as I write quite a bit of content.

Some will type directly to the browser as it will also give them google search result if you are using chrome.
