How do they get so many views with unedited stolen content?

Hey there, I hope you're doing well.

So I've come across several advertisers who are using stolen videos for their ads without any editing. I'm curious if anyone here knows how they manage to do this.

Interestingly, even when I heavily edit the ads that I create using stolen videos, the algorithm still detects them. It's puzzling why my edited versions get flagged, while these advertisers get away with using unedited stolen content and still manage to garner millions of views.

Let me share an example of one such advertiser that I've been spying on through PIPIADS. All of their ads are stolen videos that are directly uploaded without any modifications, yet they somehow achieve massive view counts.

Does anyone know what they do to bypass TikTok's algo?

Thanks.

I've heard some guys say using a metacleaner helps to clean the meta data, but not tried it myself yet

I delete the metadata for all my videos, doesn't work unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I got the same question? Can’t say it’s just algorithm or luck.

its possible they are just sending a large amount of fake views to make the ad or product seem more legit

Maybe the same but different hash, what if they change the hash of the video and that is why can't be detected as the same? even if is the same video.

Maybe, but the first ad has been running for over 42 days, I have seen different advertisers that have stolen ads running since 2021. I don't think they would be keeping it alive that long if it wasn't profitable. Plus I also spy on their websites and they are making sales. Similarweb also confirms the website has a lot of traffic. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply but I don't think that's it. Changing even 1 pixel on the video would give it a new hash. But despite my editing I am still getting caught by the algo. So basically all my ads have new hash but it still doesn't work.

This is where real interaction is important. It doesn't matter if it's the same or not. Tiktok values interaction. This also pleases tiktok. The more engagement Tiktok shows, it's still valuable across social media platforms. Looking at it this way, based on my experience, I can say that the more interaction you get for 2 hours when you share a post, the algorithm perceives this video as safe and bringing watchable interaction.
