Inkjet (cartridge) printers are a scam. You open one of those things up and measure the actual ink content and you won't even get 60% of what's advertised on the cartridge in ml. I've avoided having to get a printer for 30 years. I was always a digital kind of guy like many of you probably are, but a time does come in a mans life when he must break down and get a printer, most likely for a significant print job.
Luckily it was during prime week on amazon so i picked up a good deal on a printer, or so i thought. Absolute trash heap, Barely printed 100 pages before the thing was out of ink (not the starter ink either). Started doing some research and theres a plathora of videos on youtube showing how much ink is actualy in these craptastic expensive little boxes, and it's not whats advertised.
I assume they've been getting away with this for a very long time, because even when i was younger i remember people always complaining about getting scammed with ink. My question is how? Has a regulator never even opened up a damn cartridge before?
Anyway, I bought an Ecotank, it arrives tomorrow. Supposed to be much less scummy.
