I own a jewelery brand website and Facebook page/Twitter brand handle.

Recently a seller on other marketplace sold me 5000 Facebook likes and 2000 Twitter followers. It was a paid deal.

I was wondering how they do this?

These are showing as organic followers on analytics. Do they do paid advertising or any black hat trick?

They are actually poor people in clickfarms
What a fucked up time we live in

No they aren't. As I understand these are bots. But again how do they generate thousands of followers within few hours?

Search Facebook bots on this forum. Not step by step instructions but you could ask around

OK seems like a confusion. I did not really mean to say bots. But this to me looks some technique they use to generate fake user ids.

I remember someone disclosing creating fake email id's followed by user profiles

They have those fake accounts ready already when you place the order. They have a mass follow/mass like bot and when you place the order, they simply mass follow/mass like your account with their fake accounts. These are low quality signals, not even drip-feed.

I love it that everyone plays it an expert here when it comes to facebook...
Thry may be bots indeed but chances are very very very low
Or maybe they own a lot of big groups & pages and they ahare you there
Ofc as ghost posts so you wont find the source because it's not your business
Now if the new fans purchase or nope your stuff they are not responsible for that you ordered fans, fans you got
They are not good at monetizing threir fans it seema and they do shoutouts
So stop comenting bs like bots & fake profiles

lol, being this naive...

Also, it's not just FB, OP 's talking about Twitter too. Regardless, in both cases, those are bots, low quality signals. You might as well throw your money out of the window, those signals can hurt an account more than do good these days, when ghosting and reach is a serious issue.

from the company that you pay from they make a bunch of accounts and from your request they make those accounts to follow your account and they pay somebody to make all the accounts or do promotions on their side.

Well twitter shoutouts too are possible...
But ok lets not talk about twitter its out of my waters but facebook...
You know what a bot means right?
Fake profile
That needs activity
Warm up
Proxy
Time
And we are talking about thousands
I am myself into many shopify groups on facrbook i dont do shopify but i like the knowledge
I see a lot of membera struggling there and when the schedule of my pages is empty
I give free shares to related store pages
You know thwt just by sharing his page if its animals related i give them 5k fans per day
If i share them a video relates to animals i can send them over 30k fans per day cause simply i have the quantity
So its not bots lol
You may claim they are bots if we were back in 2012 but nowadays its not bots...
If you still think im "naive" or im talking bs later when i get on pc i can attach here some screenshots to see how fast i grow pages

And about those signals as you call them that can hurt the account (always talking about facebook)
Its not true even if thry were fake they would do just + instead od hurting...
The hurting pwrt is just psychological on admin's eyes because he sees his amount of fans
Bad reach
Even worst engagment
So if you want to aay something better start explaininf why to do it
Or the other member that reads it might think you are a facebook guru and follow your advices just because you have a blue name :)
If you still insist that what you say is true and what i say is untrue im more than happy to provide some info to convince you that you are wrong...

Some high quality not just random name like they too lazy to spell...

Make at least like real one

If you want quality, real signals, those cost money. The platform doesn't matter. Unless the OP paid an arm and leg, the chances are that those aren't real and/or quality signals. The OP said himself that those are bots.

First they create lots of accounts using a bot. Then they simply use a like bot to like the provided page using another bot. They own all the accounts from where likes are sent.

Another option is to use a like jacker. If you own a site with traffic, you could place a like jacker on the site and gain likes without the intent of the account owner.

Friends I am not sure of they are bots or real accounts.

My theory says those are not real accounts as some of you are estimating.

Reason being with recent changes on Facebook on controlling spam how would it be possible for anyone to manage thousands of accounts on Facebook at one go. Not possible.

What was the price you paid and was it stated that those signals are real? Because when a seller provides real signals, you can be sure that it gets mentioned and it reflects in the prices too.
If you paid some low price, it doesn't necessarily mean that you received fully fake signals, it still can be clickfarms or just users from 3 tier countries with no buying power. No better than bots.
If you paid a high price, you wouldn't be here wondering. :)

But it really shouldn't take much of an effort from your side to investigate. Just take a look at a few random profiles of those likers and followers, check their activity, their followers, location etc. It's not hard to tell the difference between fully fake, real looking but fake, low quality real and high quality real users.

I paid in Indian rupee. Approx Rs 1 per 5 Twitter follower and Rs. 10 per Facebook page like. Thing to note here is Twitter follower were super cheap and Facebook almost 100time expensive. The likes or followers are mostly globally.

Well then i guess you have your answer, just by judging from those prices, FB can be real, Twitter is not or low quality. But you should really check out some of the profiles, you'll see the difference between real and fake accounts.
