I see a lot of people on Facebook get verified. Yesterday I saw a guy who had like 3000 subscribers on YouTube he was barely getting 200 views on every video he had, and on facebook he had 214 likes, with a verified badge next to his name. He didnt have a website.

I see A LOT of small musicians/singers with very few likes, even fewer YouTube subscribers, getting verified.

When I ask for the verification, Facebook sends me back an email saying "You do not meet the requirements for verification...." every time.

I got 10k subscribers on YouTube with 50k+ views, I have 7k on Instagram and 2K on Twitter, all social accounts are connected to each other.

Could a website help ? Can`t afford a .com one, just a .blogspot subdomain. Would that make the difference ?

Thanks.

Had the Same question in my mind , Hit me up if you find something.

I dont know. Maybe they used ads and got verified, still that guy had 214 likes, checked him again and he`s still at 214 for the last 3 days he hasnt earned any more likes.

Some users on this forum has to know.

Just to clarify, that guy with 214 likes is not SIGNED with anyone, he`s not huge anywhere on the social world, he does not even have a website, he`s 44 y/o and he didnt answer my post on his page when I asked him about how he got verified but answered all the 7 people that posted on his page.

bump. can someone please tell me if a website plays an important role? does anyone have experience with this?

They just know someone with influence who can convince FB to verify them. Registered Music Managers for example

Click on that link, that guy is not signed with anybody nor does he have a .com website or any TLD domain. He must know some trick.

message the guy and ask him

i did. he deleted my post. thats why im saying there`s something shady. i asked him again yesterday and he deleted it again. as i said in my first post he answered everybody else except me.

not sure how, but my facebook page is now verified, im now waiting to get verified on twitter

Money and right contacts, solves issues.

lol. that guy doesnt even have money to buy his own website. contacts? not really. and even if he had any contacts, would anyone do it for free?

the 1st step would be getting a domain with a custom design and creating some buzz. I mean what will happen next when you get verified?

you mean why would i need a verified facebook page? simple, comment on a lot of celebrities and get more likes, bragging, my ambition, etc.

about the domain, does it have to be a TLD domain? cuz as u can see that guy with 213 likes does not have a TLD domain, just a free subdomain, so im guessing that if i get a blogspot subdomain and get decent traffic on it, facebook will verify me, right?

You can ask that guy directly. May be he will help you to get you verified. I dont know whether website will work.
