How do they do IT!!!???

Maybe it's because I'm a marketer not a coder, but I am so impressed with these fu*cking viruses I get on internet explorer.

They get me infected, obviously by clicking a link or downloading a file. Then when I try to visit websites, the virus directs me to affiliate sites that are similar hoping I will click links, join, etc.

I try to go to ebay it directs me to another auction site, I click on a google site, it takes me to a page full of adsense for those keywords.

This must be a gold mine because a lot of people aren't IM savvy. I would think these affiliates would be banned for this since some people probably complain to the merchant, but they probably just register new accounts. Beyond that, a lot of merchants probably turn a blind eye because they are in fact getting hundreds of real customers from it.

Is anyone doing this? I just want to know if it's as profitable as I imagine.

I do, but tens of millions use IE, and that means that if you could infect thousands of computers per week offering free downloads plugged with the trojan, well, that's a lot of chances to make money each day.

If only we could get our hands on this kinda thing......

I quit using IE a long time ago because of the security vulnerabilities.

Hell, Firefox 3 Beta 5 is more stable than IE7

Very easy to do with IE. Install a browser helper object that monitors keystrokes in IE and when it sees you searching for anything that the hacker wants to pimp, it popups up an ad. Other things that you can do is change adense pub ids, replace banner ads... a lot can be done.

Be careful with that shit. If you get prosecuted you'll probably be facing fed time.

try using FF as browser, ull get 0,00001% less chances to get infected than using IE,

To learn the ways http://www.pay-per-install.org lots of exploitable packs on there and BHO examples in the Jnr Vip areas and public. And i wouldnt let this slip into the PPI side of things keep it on topic thanks.

Its quite simple actually, id code a program if anyone was willing to pay

BHO are so 1990 better means and ways now and not depending on IE
My advice on BHW would be stay away from these subjects as they are borderline in a way hacking/ppi and not really wanted here.
