How do they do it [whois data - expired domains?]

In the last time,

i see some churn and burn sites ranking like crazy for ultra competitive terms in my country.
so far so good.
all use the same strategy:
- mass spam (i can do it myself;-))
- old domain

but the interesting part is, that it's not a expired domain..when a domain is expired, you can see in the whois that you have registered it AGAIN recently.

so how do they do it? how to buy domains / websites for cheap and to ensure that when you check the whois, it is not shown (!!) that the domain was registered again and to make it that the old date like 7/2006, when the website was first registered is shown?

it seems like that they use domains that are still active.

i mean all this guys won't buy this domains on flippa? C'MON!

i already bought recently expired domains and / or bought domains with godaddy, but always a new registration date is shown. HOW TO AVOID THAT?

I've long thought that what looks like expired domains or hacked sites are really sites or domains that have been rented out by their owners. I have no evidence for this, however.

I think you are talking dropped domains? Expired domains always shows their original registered date in whois checkup.
